An t-earrach

Last week we were looking at some Spring words.

At craft time we made a pretty Spring tree (craobh) with tissue paper stuck on for blossom (flùran).



Our vocabulary was:

An taigh

On our second week back after the holidays we made pictures of our houses. There were so many lovely, colourful pictures of different houses made.



Our vocabulary was:

An taigh – the house
An taigh agam – my house
Doras - door
Uinneag - window
Mullach - roof
Similar - chimney
Gàrradh – garden
Garaids - garage
rùm-suidhe – sitting room
rùm-cadail - bedroom
taigh-beag - bathroom
cidsin - kitchen

To finish off song time we sang the old Dòtaman song, Gnog gnog aig an doras (Knock, knock at the door).

Mè, mè, a chaora dhubh

On our first week back after Easter we made some little sheep pictures using lots of cotton wool.



At song time we sang Mè, mè, a chaora dhubh (Baa, baa, black sheep)
